The DPS allows users to send feedback to the OEM to share an idea, report an issue, or suggest an improvement at any time.
Feedback can be sent from any page via a tab always available at the bottom of the screen. In this way, the feature is within reach and never interrupts what the user is doing.

Clicking the tab opens the Feedback page where the user can:
Describe in a text area an idea, an encountered issue, or suggest an improvement.
Provide a file, for example, a screenshot to communicate exactly what they are seeing.

Pressing Send submits the feedback to the OEMās configured recipient.
Pressing Cancel discards it and returns to the previous page.
Feedback Context
Each feedback message is delivered by email to the OEMās configured recipient and arrives with the full context, so the person handling it can understand the situation and recreate it without further messaging.
The email includes:
The details of the reporter user.
The page URL from which the feedback was sent.
The customer, location, and thing (if present).
The user type.
The text notes entered by the user.
The attached file (if provided).
Configuring the Feedback Feature
To enable/disable the Feedback tab available to DPS users, in the Console, you must enter the Advanced Settings, select the āEnable feedback link on pageā checkbox, and specify the āFeedback Recipientsā.
By saving the settings, the āFeedbackā tab will appear in the DPS.
