New Subscription Management

We upgraded our subscription management system to give you greater flexibility and control on building your digital services offering.
The new subscription management lets you increase revenue by offering Digital Plans segmented by features, pricing, and country — giving each customer exactly what they need.

Plans and Add-ons settings panels

Here's what's new:

  • Digital Plans and Add-ons: Digital Plans and Add-ons form the foundation of the new digital service offering. Digital Plans replace the previous Service Levels. The value of a Digital Plan is defined by the set of features it includes, providing customers with a structured and incremental path to value with specific benefits. Add-ons complement this structure by addressing particular needs that apply across all Digital Plans and can be activated simultaneously on a single product

  • Simplified yearly billing with proration: A single annual payment that includes plans and add-ons activated on the customer’s products is now available.

Any Digital Plan or Add-on activated mid-year is billed proportionally to the time remaining until the next renewal.

  • Flexible payment methods: You can choose from multiple payment methods supported by Stripe, or opt for deferred payments made through your own system.

  • Availability and pricing segmentation: Define segments to enable Digital Plans and Add-ons for specific models and regions, and adjust their prices as needed. This makes it easier to adapt your offering to local markets and heterogeneous product configurations.

  • Activation mode: You can choose whether the customer can activate a Digital Plan or Add-ons differently for every single product, or let the customer select only once a Digital Plan or Add-ons to be automatically applied to all the products.

  • Discounts: Allows your sales team to set discounts for customers.

  • Sell subscriptions to partners: As well as selling to customers, you can sell value-added digital services to your channel partners.

Automation on Self-registered Users

You can now intercept when a DPS user performs the self-registration and trigger notifications or API requests to your legacy system.
In the Automations, you can filter user creation or update events by specifying a condition on the Self-registered property.

Data Documentation Page

One of the requirements of the Data Act is to provide users, including third parties, with a page where they can view the documentation for the data they are authorized to access.
The Documentation tab has been added to the predefined Data Management page, allowing DPS users to select a product model and view the list of metrics and related technical information.

Country ISO Code

For entities with the Country property (e.g., Customer, Location, Partner), the country's ISO code is now saved automatically as well.
In addition to the country, you will find the countryIsoCode property.
This facilitates data analysis and integration with external systems via APIs.

Bug fixes (DPS)

  • The Link Element did not support custom protocols, for instance, to open local applications.

  • When tagging things on the Map widget by selecting an area, the application became slow.
