The DPS is an application that given its nature is protected and requires users to log in to access.

By navigating the DPS address, the login page is proposed to the user (if not logged in).

The login page is styled according to the OEM brand identity. For more details refer to the Brand Configuration article.

To complete the login, the user must provide the email and password.
The form is protected with a reCAPTCHA which prevents login attends made by automatic systems.
Optionally, the Two-factor Authentication can be enabled.

Forgot password

It could happen that the user forgot his access password, in this case, the user ca click on the "Forgot password?" link from the login page.

The application asks the user to provide the registration email where to send the reset password link (expires in 1 hour).

When the reset password link is navigated, the user lands on a page where it can provide the new password.

By confirming, the user's password is updated, and the login can be done.
Each time the password is updated, the user receives an email notification.

Self-registration

The Login page is also the entry point for the user self-registration.

Single sign-on

Optionally it is possible to configure the login through a third-party entity provider (e.g. Login with Google).
