Back-office admins, according to their permissions, can edit other users, and this includes:

  • Editing personal information and any other relevant information to be collected.

  • Editing user permissions.

  • Suspend and reactivate a user.

  • Delete a user.

User editing

By entering the Users page, back-office administrators can select a user and edit its information (e.g. name/surname, e-mail) and any additional information defined through user properties.

Permissions editing

In this section, it is possible to define the user permissions.

  • End Date: optionally you can specify after that the user will no longer able to access the DPS.

  • User Type: this is the type associated to the user and providing the set of permissions and capabilities.

User activity monitoring

In this section, back-office user can have an overview of the activity of the user, including for instance creation time, first and last login time.

User Suspension

A user can be automatically suspended after several months of inactivity (no login, no page access).

You can configure user suspension within the Account console page.

User Reactivation

A suspended user can be manually reactivated by entering the user editing page and then the Activity tab.

Prevent suspension on specific users

User types having the NEVER_SUSPEND permission will not be subject to automatic suspension.
Generally, this is applied to Technical users which may not access the application for a long time.

User deletion

In some cases, user accounts need to be permanently removed from the DPS.
Deletion might occur due to extended inactivity, user request, or other criteria.

According to the permissions, the back-office user can delete another user by clicking the Delete button.
When confirmed, the user is deleted and all associated data is securely erased or archived according to data retention policies, thus maintaining system integrity and data privacy.
