Timezone Button
For service teams monitoring products installed across different countries, correctly interpreting time-based information can be a problem due to the presence of timezones.
The new Timezone Management feature removes ambiguity and reduces the risk of errors by ensuring that users always know which timezone the displayed information refers to.
This enhancement provides greater clarity for distributed teams and more precise control over time-related information within the DPS.
In the DPS, the new Timezone button allows users to:
Always be aware of the timezone used to display information.
Be highlighted when the product is located in a different timezone than the user’s.
Change the timezone during navigation, even automatically according to the page context.
The Period Field now takes into account the selected timezone, allowing for coherent data retrieval and filtering.
The Timezone Button is automatically displayed to users when they access a context with a different timezone.
