Templates

In case of a TEMPLATE component, in this section you can define the templates that are available in the Console, under the Templates page.

By pressing the Add Template button, a new template is created.

A template is described by:

• Name: The unique name used to reference the template.

• Label: The template label that is visible in the Console.

• Group: The free name used to group similar templates.

• Description: The template short description.

• Context: The context where this template can be used.

  • THING: The template will be available in the thing definition template list.

  • TENANT: The template will be available in the general template list

• Preview Image: An image giving a preview of the template rendering.

• Technical Description: A text describing which metrics, properties, or other information are required by the template to be displayed.

• Content: The HTML defining the template.
