Templates

In case of a TEMPLATE component, in this section you can define the template that are available in the Console, under the Templates page.

By pressing the Add Template button, a new template is created.

A template is described by:

  • Name: the unique name used to reference the template.

  • Label: the template label visible in the Console.

  • Group: the free name used to group similar templates.

  • Description: the template short description.

  • Context: the context where it is possible to use this template.

    • THING: the template will be available in the thing definition template list.

    • TENANT: the template will be available in the general template list

  • Preview Image: an image giving a preview of the template rendering.

  • Technical Description: a text describing which metrics, properties or other information are required by the template to be displayed.

  • Content: the HTML defining the template.
