During the registration process, they must provide the required information and accept the terms and conditions specific to Data Recipients. Before accessing the DPS, Data Recipients must be approved by the OEM, which may: - Review the information provided by the Data Recipient (e.g., company, contact information, country). - Approve or reject the request. - If approved, authorize access to specific customers to download their raw data. ![Component used by OEM to approve or reject the Data Recipient self registration.](https://cdn.document360.io/6759e9c9-3ce3-49df-965a-7231d2d9a10a/Images/Documentation/Data Recipient self registration approval.png) When approved, Data Recipients can access their dedicated [view](/v1/docs/default-data-recipient-view) and start downloading authorized raw data via API or the [Data Export](/v1/docs/data-export-widget) widget. To help you comply with the EU Data Act, within the Console, you will find: - The [Data Recipient](/v1/docs/user-types#data-recipient-partner) user type for Data Recipients, along with a predefined [View](/v1/docs/views#creating-views) tailored to their role and permissions. - The predefined [Data Management page](/v1/docs/views#predefined-pages), where DPS users can securely download the data they are authorized to access. - The Data Recipient account type that can be enabled on the [User Onboarding](/v1/docs/user-onboarding#user-selfregistration) page. - A new way to define [User Agreements](/v1/docs/user-agreements) that can be tailored for data recipients, other than other account types. - The [Raw Data](/v1/docs/metric-sets#raw-data-metric-set) metric set, which can be used to group all Raw Data metrics shared with Data Recipients. ## Time Zone on Things For machines that are not fixed in a single location, but can be deployed or moved worldwide, you can now configure the Time Zone directly on the Thing level. This integrates the [Time Zone Button](/v1/docs/dps-timezone-management#how-the-timezone-button-works) feature and ensures that data is always interpreted correctly based on where the machine is operating. ## Bug fixes (Console) - The Python script editor used for the Algorithms definition did not handle spaces and tab indentation correctly. The editor now highlights whether tabs or spaces are used.
