For instance, consumables can be used to: - Calculate the electric energy costs. - Calculate the operating costs (e.g. consumed water, gas, ink, oil). - Generate consumption reports. Purchasable consumables are associated with a price (e.g. $ per unit), and this allows costs computation and their sale directly within the application. In case a consumable is stocked, so subject to a shortage, the application allows to: - Configure thresholds and alerts for consumables shortage. - Manage the stock on the Customer level. - Perform manual consumable reordering based on a custom threshold. ## Defining new Consumable Here you will find how to configure a *Consumable* from scratch.
