# Dependencies

In this section, you can specify the other components that are required. In this way, when a component is installed, other dependent components are installed too.

For instance, when defining widgets, you should include the dependency on the class [*AbstractWidget*](/v1/docs/abstract-widget), which provides helpful classes and methods.
